The warm season is finally here. But with the sometimes sweaty temperatures, many parents ask themselves: Can I also carry my baby in a carrier in summer? And of cou,rse we have a few good reasons why you can. For one, you can easily go anywhere with the carrier and reach any lake or mountain, or take a stroll in the sand. On the other hand, pushchairs and prams can quickly become a risk factor in summer when it comes to dangerous heat build-up. It is often parked in the sun because the hood provides shade and usually also has UV protection. Then many parents put a cloth over the front of the hood to protect their little one from the sun and suddenly it gets boiling hot inside the pushchair. And the problem is: no one notices because the child is hidden behind the cloth and the hood. Overheating happens more quickly than when you're carrying, because you can feel the baby close to your body and have a better view of how your baby is doing. However, there are of course a few things to keep

Just because we like our products doesn't mean others will. As one of the world's leading companies in the field of ergonomic baby carriers, we are always striving to make our products even better, so we are always dependent on feedback from the field. That is why it is important to us that both parents and medical experts test our products for suitability for everyday use, ergonomics, handling and comfort. No sooner said than done! With the introduction of the revised Adapt baby carrier last September, we were able to have 64 midwives and babywearing advisors from Germany and Austria for an extensive product test. Our carriers are extensively tested and assessed in everyday life with many different families in practice as well as many different experts and health professionals. After the test phase, there was of course an extensive survey for the midwives to fill out.
This is what our testers said
Are you excited about the results? Rightly so, and so were we. That's why we don't want

Hallelujah, with so many different baby carriers and variations - keeping track of them all is sometimes not so easy, even for us. And what about you? That's why we thought we'd compare two baby carriers so that it's easier for you to make a decision. Today we have chosen one of our bestsellers, the Omni 360. You can buy the Omni 360 in two different versions: the Omni 360 Cotton made of 100 percent premium cotton or the Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh with breathable mesh fabric.
As always, there is no "better" or "worse" here, otherwise we could simply take one style off the market. No, the decisive factors are personal taste, the attitude to certain topics such as sustainability or individual living conditions and one's own activity level. Because in terms of functionality, both baby carriers have the same advantages: The practical crossover shoulder straps and the wide, padded lumbar support of the Omni carrier protect your back, while you can carry your child ergonomically in four different

Why Choose Babywearing?
Chances are if you're here on the Ergobaby blog you're already considering babywearing! But if you're not yet sure exactly why babywearing is so great, you've come to the right place!
In a nutshell, babywearing allows parents and caregivers to keep babies safe, comfortable and happily in close contact while providing them with numerous physical and emotional benefits for their development too!
Babies are carried for nine months when parents are pregnant but when baby is born, it's a whole new world for them. Luckily, wearing baby in a wrap or baby carrier reinstates that closeness again, while also providing numerous benefits to development, both physically and emotionally. The first few months after birth is called the ‘fourth trimester’ - and for good reason, as little ones need parents more than ever as they make the transition into the world.
Babywearing allows parents to build a stronger bond between child and parent. The closeness stimulates a beneficial

Meet Their Needs
The first thing to check is a simple one - check your baby's needs, both physical and emotional, have been met so they are as happy as possible going into the carrier.
Make sure baby is clean and dry, nobody would like to sit in a dirty nappy!
Make sure they're fed and winded, especially if they're breast/chestfed, snuggling up close
