Spooky decor, creative costumes, festive music, pumpkin scents, and all your favourite candies in bite-size form—it’s hard not to love all the sights, sounds, and tastes of Halloween. But Halloween isn’t always loved by young kids. What’s fun to you may be frightening to them. And while you’d think that every kid would enjoy and be able to handle one evening of trick-or-treating, it can become more of a trick than a treat.
But still, trick-or-treating is worth trying with your kids. Follow these eight tips to help make this year’s Halloween night of trick-or-treating as fun, festive, and safe with your kids as you can!
1. Prep your child for everything Halloween.

Little Enzo loves nothing more than sitting in his Metro buggy, giggling at dogs, pointing at street signs and waving at buses. Read more about Enzo and his challenge with Leukaemia.
The monumental challenge we’re facing every hour of every day, is living with the fact our baby boy Enzo has a rare type of infant leukaemia. He was diagnosed a week before his 1st birthday, in November 2018. Infant leukemia behaves differently to the more common childhood leukaemia. It’s harder to treat, typically resistant to chemo and unfortunately hasn't experienced the amazing improvements in survival rates seen in other areas of childhood cancer.
Life at the moment is full on and it’s hard to put into words how much our little boy has had to endure. He’s had more than 170 doses of chemotherapy, spent 120 days and nights in hospital (all in isolation), 80 home nurse visits, 28 unplanned trips to hospital when at home and 30 blood and platelet transfusions.

For centuries families have relied on advice passed down from generation to generation on a vast number of things, and raising babies is one of them. Chances are when you were expecting you were given many tit-bits of information and advice to guide you through- whether they were helpful or not is another matter! The point is that we humans need that interaction, support, and guidance to help us build confidence and to feel empowered in our daily endeavors. And when it comes to raising a baby, nobody is born knowing it all. We learn from our parents, grandparents, friends, and communities. We then pass that knowledge on ourselves, because we want to help and because we know how valuable learned advice can be. With this in mind, I’d like to share with you some newborn sleep tips you need to pass on. I promise it will make you feel good, and that friend who just had a baby will appreciate it too.

We understand that you want the best and safest products for your baby. Unfortunately, there are counterfeit and potentially dangerous copies of our Ergobaby Carriers on the market. We urge you to obtain genuine products and educate yourself and others on how to purchase authorised products and how to avoid counterfeits that could potentially cause harm. We pride ourselves on using high quality, certified materials produced in independently inspected factories that adhere to responsible work practices. Our Ergobaby Carriers have attracted a host of international product awards and health endorsements. Unfortunately, this success has also attracted unscrupulous copies. We love the fact that the Ergobaby Carrier is a “must-have” on many baby shower lists. But that means that you as parents may not be purchasing the Ergobaby

The first year of a child’s life brings with it remarkable — and often awe-inspiring — changes and development. From the moment they’re born, babies are immersed in multi-sensory experiences that inspire them to observe, explore, and respond to the world around them. Here are three amazing transformations you’ll watch in Baby’s first year.
Vision developments

Born this way. At birth, a baby’s vision is limited to about 8″–10″, which happens to be the general distance between parent and child. While colour recognition isn’t yet fully developed, babies are fascinated by contrasting patterns

Strolling around town, we can observe fathers and mothers alike carrying their babies and toddlers close to their body and doing so with joy and without putting too much effort into it - in most cases, either with baby slings or baby carriers. Nowadays, there are even carriers specifically designed for newborns, such as our latest addition, the Embrace. The combination of a soft and supple sling fabric with the practical features of a baby carrier allows babies to explore the world in an ergonomic, safe and completely sheltered environment. Considering the progress made and the multitude of possibilities in the field of carriers, one might ask themselves how our parents managed to "survive" in a world without baby carriers! Even more so if they lived in big cities, on the third floor of an old apartment building or if they were intent on actively moving around town

First time parents are spending more than three billion pounds on baby gear every year, with more than half ending up in debt!
A nationwide study released in time for British Savings Week (16th - 22nd September), has found that UK parents spend an average of £10,000 on baby prep/first year of life costs, adding up to more than THREE BILLION POUNDS spent on first babies alone EACH YEAR.
Shockingly, a whopping 90 percent of parents admitted they’d overspent on baby goods, with an average £5,567 wasted in total. That’s £1.7billion wasted each year by British parents on items that were either not used at all, or not enough to warrant the amount spent!
And with some parents admitting to spending as much as a brand-new Ford Focus* it’s no surprise that more than half (56 percent) of new mums and dads go into debt due to unforeseen or unplanned costs associated with their first baby.
The research, commissioned by Ergobaby UK, found that three quarters

We wouldn't be Ergobaby if we weren't constantly tinkering and developing new innovative and super cool products on a regular basis. And now, yes now, it's finally time again for us to announce a brand-new……... Ergobaby!
A new Ergobaby carrier is coming and her name is: Embrace. And this is exactly how your newly born protégé should feel with this new carrier: embraced by his loved ones and by Ergobaby. The Embrace will occupy a special position in our range, because it is ideal for those of you who want to carry their little protégé from the beginning. The Embrace is made of particularly soft, slightly elastic and supple jersey material (even certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100), which gently envelops the newborn (3.2-11.3 kg). It therefore conveys the comfortable and intimate carrying feeling that many know and like about our Aura baby wrap - but it is quick and easy to put on like a baby carrier. A perfect hybrid of our very popular carriers.
