Spread a Little Christmas Spirit with an Ergobaby Doll Carrier this Yuletide
Ergobaby is excited to announce the return of their popular Santa Service, bringing a little bit of festive joy to the holiday season! Parents can order their little love an Ergobaby Doll Carrier for Christmas and it will arrive with a special note from Santa to let them know they are firmly on the Nice List and to thank them for being so well behaved this year.
The Ergobaby Doll Carrier is the perfect way for children aged 18-months and older to join in with babywearing and show their best friend the love and comfort they had as a worn baby. It also leaves little hands free for other games or tasks, and with teddy less likely to be left behind when safely carried, hopefully means fewer tears too!
Three magical new prints have joined the range in time for Christmas: Clementine and Safari Dream and Chalkboard Stars, all designed

Our Top Five Tips for Winter Babywearing
Every year as it starts to get chillier, we have questions in from parents asking about how to dress their little one while they're in their baby carrier in cold weather, so here are our Top Five Winter Babywearing tips:
1. Less Is More
Dressing baby in too many layers of clothing could cause them to overheat, so start with fewer layers and add more if you feel baby is too chilly. When dressing baby for winter babywearing, remember that your carrier counts as a layer of clothing and so do you as your body warms them up - particularly as your temperature is likely to increase as you’re carrying baby, along with any number of parenting essentials!

Sling Library Spotlight - A Great Babywearing Resource
What is a Sling Library?
We often get asked by parents how they can choose between carriers, and the benefits of our carriers over those from other manufacturers and the best way to answer these questions is to see them in person and try them on. And there's nothing like taking a carrier home to figure out if it's right for you and your baby, but that's not always easy. That’s where sling libraries come in! They offer services where you can try lots of different types of carriers and hire them for a certain period of time.
Why use a Sling Library?
If the above wasn't enough, Sling libraries offer invaluable services to parents interested in babywearing who want to find out more and learn about their options. Often run by qualified babywearing consultants or peer supporters, each library will have a collection of baby carriers and baby wraps available for hire or for you to try before you purchase

A First Time Dad's Top Tips for Surviving the First Week with your New Baby
The first week of being a new parent can be extremely daunting for everyone, including dads and partners so we caught up with a new dad to ask his tops tips for surviving (and thriving!) in those early days.
Do your research but prepare to be surprised
There are so many books, blogs, videos and general advice out there for parents on what to expect that preparing for the arrival of your newborn can be disconcerting and make you feel that you are never going to read/watch/hear enough and that you can't ever be ready. From my personal experience this preparation is vital to gain an understanding and support the birthing person (mum in our case!) who has a lot on her mind for the impending arrival but the biggest takeaway I took from this ‘research’ is that every birth, baby and situation is different. Any plans or ideas you have about the first week are likely
