I’m pregnant?! Amazing?! Exciting?! Slightly daunting?!
Following tears of joy and embracing the excitement of finding out my friends were pregnant, along with lots of hugging, crying and smiling, we would often sit, have a cup of tea and chat about what they would need to buy for their baby. Having worked within the baby industry for over 10 years my friends have always come to me to discuss the latest products and learn more about baby essentials.
Seeing the support this gave them on this new and slightly daunting experience, really struck home with me. I wanted to give something more, something too for all of the mums I regularly chatted to at Baby Shows or in stores, that’s when Googlicious Baby was born.

Nine Tips to Help Parents During the COVID-19 Pandemic
We encourage new parents to follow the recommendations for the first 40 days, but here are some tips for helping new parents get through this time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether your baby is 9 days old, 9 months old or you have older kids in the house, here are some helpful tips for self-care during this time.
1. Remember what is in your control and what is not.
Focus on what you can control, washing your hands, practicing kindness, eating well, taking your vitamins. Try to limit your news consumption right now.
2. Don’t compare.
Remember not to compare and despair right now, everyone will react to this scenario in different ways. Be gentle with yourself and with others.
3. Get some fresh air.
Some fresh air and sunshine is great for mental and physical health. Even if it's just a lap around the garden do what you can to get outside with baby…the fresh air will help you both!

Home workouts have never been more relevant, searched for or useful than right now. They provide much needed movement and physical stimulation and the mental health benefits that everyone is well aware come from a workout.
As well as this, at a time of great isolation they provide a much needed sense of community, friendship and belonging – a safe place to hang out, chat and interact.
As a new mum there is even more ‘home workouts’ hitting your social feed and being advertised to you then ever before BUT just because you can do something in your front room doesn’t always mean that you should.
As a postnatal client you still need to apply proper training protocols to your workouts to keep you safe and injury free and the workouts beneficial and appropriate.
Just as a high impact plyometric training session built around burpees and jump squats may be an inappropriate choice for a new mum in the gym – it is an equally inappropriate choice

How a Compact Stroller Will Help Your Everyday Routine
The everyday routine of a parent is busy and at times chaotic to say the least. And while children are wonderful, they can also make everyday errands into an epic event. According to the NHS, it's estimated that narcolepsy affects about 30,000 people in the UK, but many cases are thought to go unreported. It’s a condition that is often misunderstood, so we chatted to Jessica from Life of a Narcoleptic Mum to learn more...
First of all, for those who don’t know, what is narcolepsy?
Narcolepsy is a long-term illness which affects sleep and wake cycles. In the daytime I can fall asleep and in the night it's hard for me to get to sleep. If I don't have a daily routine and have a nap, then I go into automatic behaviour. This is where I do things without knowing until I come out of that state. For example, putting the milk in the cupboard or something dangerous like putting on the cooker.
When were you diagnosed and what was that journey like?
I had the symptoms at the age of 18 in 2010. This was after a three-month volunteering opportunity I took up in South Africa. When I got home, I experienced symptoms such as falling
