Is your Ergobaby baby carrier a use-it-every-day kind of item? We hope so! After all, cuddling with your little miracle is one of the most beautiful things there is. And an ergonomic baby carrier is practical to boot. So, if your baby carrier is in constant use, then you probably also know it’s prone to stains and spills. The baby spits up, chews on the shoulder straps, a small (or large!) nappy mishap happens, or some milk drips onto the material when breast/chestfeeding and carrying.
You don't always have to wash the entire baby carrier immediately. Sometimes you can just remove the stain with a damp cloth, some mild detergent or washing-up liquid and lukewarm water. In other cases, however, there is probably no way around the washing machine. And that's why today we're giving you a simple guide on how to wash your Ergobaby baby carrier in a way that is gentle on the material and the environment.
How often can I wash my carrier?
Generally speaking, you can wash your carrier as often

Winter is coming and even if winter brings more rain than snow these days, we still have our share of chilly weather! With that comes the question of what to dress baby in during the winter months. After all, young babies cannot regulate their own body temperature, they can cool down or overheat quickly. In short: our baby is dependent on our help. So how do we do it right? A baby snowsuit is super cute but is it always the best choice? Or is there a better way to keep baby warm but not too warm? Today, let's take a look at different everyday situations and explain how to dress baby for them.
Dressing baby for winter: what baby winter clothes do I need and when?
First of all, the magic word for preparing your baby winter clothes is: LAYERS! This is the only way to be prepared for every situation. Both indoors and outdoors.
Create a good base of long-sleeved bodysuit and tights, or a romper suit. Then - depending on the room temperature and age - a jacket or jumper and trousers. It's

How can you use a bouncer to promote your baby’s development?
Put your baby safely and securely in their bouncer, hop into the shower, done! This is one of the most common functions of this everyday baby essential item. Especially in the beginning, when your baby is small and prefers to be snuggled and close to parents and loved ones.
Did you know that you can use your Ergobaby 3-in-1 Evolve Bouncer to play with your baby and encourage their development? We have some cool ideas for you on how this essential item can help you support your child.
Suggestions for play and movement.
When your baby is born, they can only see 20-25 centimetres from your face and react mainly to high-contrast objects - mainly black and white. As the weeks and months go by you get more and more opportunities to actively interact with your baby. For example, you can play games and do movement exercises while your little one is sitting in their bouncer. At the same time, the rocking motion has a calming effect on

Even though your baby's head is the biggest and heaviest part of your child - their skull is still very sensitive. Hidden beneath the soft baby fuzz are movable, deformable plates that protect your baby's developing brain. However, they can also flatten if your little one lies on their back too often and can't turn their head. This is when the so-called flat head syndrome can occur. Although this can be treated, it is much easier to prevent it. That's why Katrin Ritter a Midwife and Babywearing and Sleep Specialist for Ergobaby explains more about how flat head syndrome occurs in babies and which Ergobaby products can help you prevent it.
What is flat head syndrome?

Also known as positional plagiocephaly or brachycephaly, flat head syndrome can sometimes begin before birth when pressure is
