With it being Summer holidays we thought it would be nice for some nice fresh colours to help with those summer days!
The new "Blue Blooms" features floral patterns meandering on a beautiful and strong blue. Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh will be launching at the end of August. “Classic Weave" adds a woven look to the Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh similar to Indigo Weave, but in timeless grey.
Nothing is more important than your new little baby. You’ll want to spend every waking moment snuggling them and ensuring they’re content and safe.
Baby Carriers allow you to keep your baby close while still being able to do things around the house, go on a walk—go about having a normal-as-possible day. For some of our Ergobaby carriers you will need to use an infant insert from birth, you can read more below about using the Easy Snug Infant Insert with your carrier.
How to Use the Easy Snug Infant Insert
Our Easy Snug Infant Insert can be used two different ways:

Looking for a compact stroller that really goes from birth and fits into your hallway, so you can actually walk to the front door and back without tripping over?
The Ergobaby Metro can certainly help!
The Metro Newborn Kit provides the same style and comfort of a pram, but on a compact stroller - and can even fold when attached to the stroller. Just see how easy it is below! Unlike most strollers where you have to take the carrycot off before folding!
Use the Metro Newborn Kit from birth and then switch to the stroller seat when baby starts to push up (approx 5-6 months). The newborn kit provides a comfortable,
Summer is here and we are hoping it will stay, but if you’re anything like us, you’ll be counting down to that family holiday!
Whether your planning on playing on the beach, or splashing around in the pool with the little ones, but before you reach your destination, there’s just the small matter of getting there.
Travelling on a plane can be a real challenge for parents of young children or babies, even packing before you get on board is stressful enough without the fear of other passengers and what they might think or say when things don’t quite go to plan.
So, how do you ensure baby and you are as relaxed as possible for the flight? Check out some of these tips from our Marketing Manager, Amanda Loveday, who recently travelled with her 4 month old baby all the way to New Zealand!
Make it easy for yourself
Trying to understand what your allowed and not allowed to take through the airport can be so confusing! Look for a travel buggy
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are…" Sometimes you don't even need to resort to the bedtime classics, baby falls asleep easily on a small walk in the buggy.
In this case, the Metro says: "Make yourself comfortable". This dreamcatcher will get it all sorted : the backrest can be adjusted in just a few steps; the footrest can be folded up so little one can continue dreaming in a wonderfully relaxed way.
Thanks to soft padding, super wheels and soft suspension, it's sleeping guest will not even notice that this is NOT their own bed. At least, that's how it looks! Roll the tape for our fifth and last video proof from the #madetomove series:
Yes Yes Yes! Summer is finally here! The sun is shining, it is warm and our fingers are crossed that it will stay for a while now. In these warmer to hot temperatures, we often get asked whether it is still okay to carry baby in a carrier. Is it not too hot for baby?
Here are some quick tips on keeping cool and confident while wearing your baby in warm weather.
Thin Layers
Your carrier or baby wrap acts as at least 1 extra layer of clothing, so it’s important to keep baby lightly dressed when using a carrier. You should still have spare clothes in your luggage - just in case that british weather changes! Fabrics made of natural fibers such as bamboo or cotton are the fastest drying and are breathable, so are often recommended. Speaking of being breathable: In the summer, mesh material is naturally most suitable, because they are permeable to air and additionally provide cooler
The Ergobaby Omni 360 was launched in 2017 and is our newest Carrier available. This carrier is the all in one baby carrier for everyone, designed with comfort and ease of use in mind.
However, both the Omni 360 and 360 carrier are ergonomic carriers and acknowledged as Hip healthy from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and both support all 4 carry positions - front inward, hip, back and front outward.
Those who have followed our #madetomove video series over the past few weeks know this: our Metro is a conqueror of obstacles - it goes around them like a real problem solver.
We know it's not always easy navigating everyday urban life with other strollers and a child.
In today's video, we show the "no lift down to the tube" scenario. This is no problem at all for our feather-light Metro buggy.
Simply take your child in your arms, easily fold up the Metro with your other hand and you're on your way down the stairs to the incoming tube. So... you only need your own two hands – no additional helping hand, which, as you know, is not always easy to find from a stranger!

Iman, based in London, is a mum of 3 under 5, the youngest of which is just a couple of weeks old. She works from home and her children are homeschooled, making a baby carrier useful for both those lifestyles!
Iman has practiced babywearing with the Ergobaby Original for years and will use the same carrier for her new baby, as well as the aura baby wrap for the first weeks.
Where and when did you first get your Ergo?
I got my first Ergo as a gift from my older sister who had a baby 3 months after I did, in 2013. At that point, my son was 6 months old and I found it so very useful!
How long did you end up using it?
I ended up using it until 2017 - so for 4 years straight - as my son was 18 months old when my daughter was born and I used it interchangeably between them. My children have always been lower in weight so
Fortunately, there are many cafés that suit children and families alike. But even if there are designated places for strollers and buggies, they are often already taken. How about taking it with you to the table?
Usually, that's not an option, as there are many other big and small guests around and the waiters have to find their way through the tables somehow. That cosy chat over coffee and cake doesn't work out.
How nice it would be if you had a stroller or buggy that could be folded up to the size of a shopping bag?… Wait a minute, there is such a thing! Our Metro stroller passes as hand luggage when folded. A little suitcase like this should fit into any café, no matter how overcrowded it may be! And because it is so light, it can also be carried over the heads of other café guests with just one hand. Hard to believe? We have proof in the third of our #madetomove video series
