Do you already have Summer holiday plans? Admittedly, the first time traveling with an infant is always particularly exciting and nerve racking. And often means a lot of luggage. Whether for two days or two weeks, there are just so many things to think about: things you need, things you might need, and everything else in between! At this point we would like to reassure you, with such a small new roommate often practice makes perfect. At some point you will work out you only need to take half of what you think with you, but it’s a process and you have to test it for yourself. If you are still breastfeeding, you don’t really need that much at first, nevertheless, it is of course important that you listen to your gut feeling and pack everything you think is necessary. That’s why today we have the ultimate tip for you, so you have the necessary space for all these things in the car, train or plane that you need to feel well equipped while on holiday.
So… Drum roll…YES, you got it right: It’s our award winning Ergobaby Metro+ Stroller.
Now you might ask yourself: Hey? Our baby is still much too small for a travel buggy. It cannot sit up yet. How is that supposed to work?
Yes, as experts for babies we have designed our premium stroller to be used from birth in a space-saving and safe way. And with the help of our newborn nest, you no longer have to purchase an additional accessory, that costs you extra space and money for baby to have a flat recline. But we still offer a car seat adaptor, which you can also use to convert your buggy so that it is suitable for newborns and you can chauffeur your baby from birth .
Which is pretty cool because our buggy is so space-saving that it even fits in the hand luggage compartment of the plane. So you don’t need a room-eating large stroller with a carrycot and every accessory under the sun. You can do all this when traveling with our one-handed foldable lightweight Metro+ stroller.
And this is how the newborn nest works: Fold the footrest upwards at a right angle and pull out the side parts of the newborn nest hidden in it. With the help of the poppers (three per side) you fix them to the main seat. Now bring the backrest into the flat lying position by loosening the buckle at the back and pulling down the back of the seat. That sounds too cryptic to you? No problem: Of course we also have a suitable instructional video for you. Thanks to the extra thick multi-zone padding, your baby will be super comfortable in his “small” nest. With a look through the viewing window in the sun hood you can of course see him at all times.
What do you think? If you haven’t directly gained half a square meter of space in the car through this trick, we would be very surprised.
We wish you a relaxing journey!
