#AD | Exploring the world forward facing #inmyergo with my best babe. We’ve loved babywearing since Knox was small, especially around the house so I can get jobs done with 2 hands. Now he’s a bit bigger and heavier it’s just as important to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable fit for both of us. I wanted to share with you some of my top tips for safely wearing your babe in the @ergobabyuk Omni 360 or any carrier that supports forward facing. 1. ‘Pelvic Tuck’. Holding your baby’s thighs, rotating their hips so they sit deeply into the bucket of the seat  2. Ergonomic ‘M shape’. Making sure your baby’s knees are higher than their bottom and sitting in the M shape position 3. This position is suitable from approx 5-6 months when your baby can support their own head, sit unaided and are tall enough to fit over the panel of the carrier. #inmyomni #babywearingtips #howtobabywear

#ad Let the Peter Pan adventures continue ⭐️ Finn calls our lockdown walks Peter Pan adventures and we always try and go somewhere different and exciting. I was worried when Belle came along we may have to tame our walks, and stick to flat routes but our Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier is allowing us to continue to be adventurous! We are so excited to be collaborating with Ergobaby as safety and comfort is at the forefront of their designs. Medical professionals around the globe have helped scrutinise the products through the development process to make sure the carriers are of the highest quality and standard. The carrier is so easy to wear and so safe even for little newborn babies like Belle when the instructions are followed. The tabs at the front of the carrier can and should be set to newborn, the carrier should be worn around your waist high enough so you are able to kiss your baby, and their bum should be sat nice and deep in the bucket seat. The carrier has extra neck support for newborns, make sure it is folded down inside the body of the carrier which helps keep their vulnerable heads secure in place, allowing maximum comfort and safety for your newborn. Belle doesn’t make a peep in the carrier she just loves it! #inmyomni #howtobabywear #inmyergo @ergobabyuk

#ad Sometimes Ocean loves a cuddle and whilst I am busy at the moment, this Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier is just perfect for giving her some love. This front inward-facing position is perfect for baby Ocean and for babies who are under 5-6 months to provide a safe and comfortable place for them to nestle. This position is best for her size and it is easily achieved too. A great way to ensure your baby is positioned at the correct height on your body is to check if you can easily kiss your baby's head. You do this by ensuring the waist belt is high enough on your torso supporting both your back and also baby. TICKS guidelines for baby wearing are there to help us parents to carry the little ones. The C stands for ‘Close enough to kiss’. Before carrying, it is good to have a read of the TICKS guidelines. I'd be interested to know if you know what the other letters stand for? #inmyergo #inmyomni @ergobabyuk #howtobabywear

#ad Discovering her first spring in the garden – never want to forget these moments of her facing forward and grasping this new world… • I am so delighted to partner with @ergobabyuk again because we truly love and use these carriers all the time but the following #howtobabywear tips should be relevant for all carriers. The front-outward facing position in the @ergobabyuk Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh Carrier is one of my favourites but it's important to get the positioning right for both mine and her comfort and safety. You can see how it should look above and here are some handy checks to make getting the right positioning super easy: 1. Check the sliders are set to the lowest possible position so baby can sit deep in the bucket of the seat (When wearing the cotton version of the Omni 360 or 360 Carrier, check the buttons are set to grey) 2. Check baby's legs are in the ergonomic 'M'- shape position (bottom sits lower than the knees) with their thighs supported – look at them straight on in the mirror and you should be able to see that ‘M’  3. Holding baby's thighs, rotate their hips/pelvis, so that their bottom is seated deep in the bucket of the seat. This ensures their hips are kept in the ergonomic 'M'-shape with knees higher than the bottom.  4. Ensure the shoulder straps are tightened sufficiently to hold baby close to your body. Straps should connect directly across your shoulder blades and baby should be comfy and snug. #inmyergo #inmyomni #babywearingtips #thankfififamily
