How to Make Sure your Metro+ Stroller is Ready to go for Winter Walks

It’s getting colder and wetter by the day but that won’t stop us getting out and about for some fresh air! We recently shared our Top Five Tips for Winter Babywearing and now we want to make sure you’re all set for winter strolls too with our guide to making sure your Metro+ stroller is ready to go whatever the weather.

Step one, add a footmuff.

Our ultra-cosy footmuff is designed to fit both our Metro+ and Metro strollers. Our footmuff’s top features:

  • All-Weather Protection: Water repellent exterior fabrics and premium fleece interior helps to protect your little one from rain, cold and snow
  • Internal Wipeable Panel: Keeps the bottom of the footmuff clean and protected from mucky shoes and boots
  • Easy to Install: No need to remove harness to install
  • Removable Top Cover: Maximise ventilation when indoors by easily removing the cover
  • Folds with the Stroller: For easy transportation
  • Machine Washable: Wash at 30 and air-dry (Never use bleach or detergents to clean this product)
  • Long-Lasting: Suitable from 6 months to 3 years
  • Compatible with all Metro Strollers: Including Metro+, Metro 2020 and Metro 2019

Add all that fluffiness to the Metro+‘s ample padding and you’ve got an unbeatably comfy and cosy ride!

Step two, make use of your sunshade!

While there might not be too much sun to be had in the UK during the winter months (although if the sunshine does break through you can rest easy knowing our sunshades provide UPF 50+ protection) it will also provide some light weather protection along with your footmuff, and the magnetic peek-a-boo window is great for keeping an eye on sleepy babes. And if you fancy brightening up your walks with a pop of colour, why not check out our Rose and Yellow sunshades!

Step three, no matter what… don’t forget your rain cover!

One comes free with every Metro and Metro+ stroller and they’re perfect for keeping your little one safe and dry with full seat and hood coverage (whether the seat is reclined or upright) and breathable panels to allow for airflow too. Plus, it’s PVC-free!
